It was a feat when the Vita was running unsigned code in under 24 hours from release. The celebrations only lasted so long continued as Sony started forcing the 1.510 firmware update. Now, another Hello World proof of concept has surfaced on the new firmware from an anonymous developer.

The Hello World still works through the PSP emulator on the Vita. Like the previous Hello World, it is an user mode exploit and it will not be able to give you access to the internal functions of the console unless a way is discovered to "break the sandbox nature of the emulator." At least, it will be that for starters.

Like the majority of other exploits available, it is being kept on the down low until further progress is made and to stay a step ahead of Sony patching up everything. You can take a look at the exploit in action in the source link below.

Suggestion: Make a Vita section just for Vita news, so it is more organized.

Ahh a Manchester neighbor, I think there's going to be a lot of hit and misses but being ahead of it will matter most, I'll be in buying the first version released. It's going to be a good run for this device but it's going to be a long road for Sony as the PSP community has died so badly over the past few years and their best sales will be either new users or our community (Hombrewers and Hackers).
