How to Use Multiple PSN Accounts on Your Hacked PSP

I was reading up on a few things, and I came across a couple of things people were asking. Alot of people wanted to know how to use multiple PSN accounts on your PSP once it is hacked, and whether or not it was even possible. The short answer is YES, with a little effort, and a computer, you can use as many PSN accounts on your HACKED psp as you want. This process will show you how I do it, and how you can do it too.

First and foremost, there are TWO THINGS on your PSP that determine what PSN account is associated with that PSP. The first is a file folder, called "registry" that is located inside of Flash1. This folder contains two files, "system.dreg" and "system.ireg". These two files contain your login email and your password for the Playstation Network, for whatever account you are currently using.

There is one other file, located inside of Flash2 called "act.dat". Act.dat contains all of the necessary information to allow anything downloaded from the PSN to be played on your PSP. The name and password inside of "act.dat" MUST MATCH the PSN login name and password of the PSN account info that is in the "registry" folder inside of Flash1. If those two things DO NOT MATCH, you will be able to log in to the PSN account contained inside of Registry, but you will not be able to play or enjoy anything downloaded from the PSN on that account without the matching act.dat file.

Here is exactly what I do, to play on multiple PSN names on the same hacked PSP.

Using Multiple PSN Names on One Hacked PSP:

Now, all the info for the first name should be inside of the PSN Accounts folder on your desktop. To add multiple names, go to Settings>System Settings>Restore Default Settings and it will wipe out your PSN information. Then, log into the SECOND ACCOUNT you want to use on that PSP, once you log in, Download at least ONE THING (make it small, a theme, a weapon for FTB3, something). Now, follow the steps above once you are on the second name. Now you should have TWO folders called "registry - (PSN NAME)" and two files called "act - (PSN NAME).dat". Whenever you want to use a different PSN name, just RECOPY the registry folder and the Act.dat for the PSN name you want to use, back into Flash1 and Flash2 on your PSP, and you will be able to use the other name. Make sure when you copy the folders and files BACK ONTO YOUR PSP you removed the " - (PSN NAME)" part of it, or it will not overwrite the files that are already on your PSP.

I never knew that I couldn't use multiple psn accounts o.0 At least without having to do all of this. Thanks I guess, even though I'm trying to think of a time when I will need to log into another psn, but can still be useful to other people.

If I were successful in using another account, would I still be able to get on FTB3, and use that name instead? Say, My psn was EXAMPLE1 and I did this and changed it to EXAMPLE2, would I be EXAMPLE2 when I got on FTB3?

I don't think so, the entitlement would be only on Example 1.

That's what I thought. But the entitlement is still on my psp. If I only change my name, but keep the content in the act folder, it should work. 0_0

No, basically, the entitlement is purchased on EXAMPLE1, it will only work on EXAMPLE1. If you change the registry folder to EXAMPLE2 and do not change the act.dat, you will be able to log into the PSN, but FTB3 would tell you that you need the entitlement because act.dat does not match the info in the registry folder.

I have 2 FTB3 entitled accounts, that is why I figured out how to do this. Instead of having to use one account on each of my PSPs, I can use both on any of my PSPs.

It is possible to do it another way, but this is the easiest way to do it without having to reset to factory settings and crapola! whenever you want to (i.e. deleting connections, settings, etc. etc)

I have a folder on my desktop with like 5 different PSN accounts that I have, all with things purchased on them. Makes it easier to log into them, download stuff, and then use it. They are adding an "Act.dat chooser" on PRO C, so that you can keep all of your act.dat and registry information in a folder on your memory stick and easily choose between them when need be.

So when PRO-C# comes out, you'll be able to use FTB3 on any psn account that you choose when you change the psn via this technique?

No, I think you would still have the entitlement on one account. But the Pro-C would let you change psn's without a computer.

Yea, PRO C is going to let you do this whole process from the memory stick, without a computer, there will never be a way to get FTB3 for free. It just isn't going to happen, thanks to the fact that the game connects to the PSN and checks to see if your e-mail has an entitlement. They were smart enough to NOT make that part of the game, but rather part of the PSP itself so that you couldn't make a #Entitlement nitePR code.

Yea? But wouldn't you be able to crack open the coding on an entitlement, and then make another?

Dude, its not possible. It never will be. I suppose you could try to make an entitlement generator, but then you would need all of the similarities in previous entitlement codes, and I have seen many, they seem to be just random numbers and letters. If you can get me say, 20 codes, and I can find the constants, I'll take a crack at a generator for you.

Considering the entitlement would be useless to other people, maybe you could just ask the community to help with this. You have 2 right? Well I have 1. Just need another 17 more. With the amount of active people on this site, I think it would be possible to go even higher than 20 for a more accurate generator.
