I didn't actually see this posted in this section anywhere, and i personally LOVE IT, so i thought I would share.

Basically what this does, it creates category folders inside of your "Game" section in the XMB so that you can organize your ISOs, Homebrew, PSXs, etc.

Installation:

Code:

-Download the file below
-Open the downloaded file
-Connect your PSP to your PC
-Copy game_categories_light.prx to your SEPLUGINS folder
-Open VSH.txt
-PSP 1000/2000/3000 users add this line to VSH.txt:
          ms0:/seplugins/game_categories_light.prx 1
-PSPGo users add this line to VSH.txt:
          ef0:/seplugins/game_categories_light.prx 1
-Save and close VSH.txt
-Disconnect your PSP from PC and RESET VSH.

Now, to set up all the categories. All you have to do, is connect your PSP to your computer. Open up the ISO folder, and make NEW FOLDERS for different types of games. Like if you have a few Mini games, make a new folder called "Minis" and place the Mini game ISOs in there. If you have a few Shooters, make a folder called "Shooters" and put your Shooter ISOs in there, and so on.

Then open your PSP/GAME folder, and do the same thing with all of the stuff in there too. Like if you have a few PSXs, make a folder called PSXs and place all of your PSXs in there, and then a Homebrew folder for your homebrews, and so on.

Any files that are not placed into category folders will show up in a folder called "Uncategorized". It also includes a subtitle that tells you the versions that the Homebrew/Games will work in. Like if a game works from 1.50 - 5.00 it will say "Game for version 1.50 - 5.00" underneath the game icon. You can also switch between category view, and normal view, by pressing SQUARE inside the game section to switch back to classic view.

I use this, it keeps everything very organized, and is extremely useful.

Reason why is cause its the only console i own and we're low on money like every month and i dont have money to replace it. Just a personal preference, due to what i've been through in the last 6 or 7 years. pm me and ill explain(only you though)

Well, you don't have to install Perm. in PRO B5, 6.20, so i suppose, since its the exact same FW, if you aren't going to install the perm. patch, why bother downgrading.
