get your text off your focal, i would have placed the text next to his head, between his hair and hood, or to the left of the hood, but never on the focal.

Also, looking at it again, i think if you took the background, and use a radial blur, erase the middle, near the render, and leave the sides there, set to Linear Dodge.. might look nice.. just a thought.

yeah this background all I did was use grunge brushes, and I'll try that.
