This is so damn EPIC. Coldbird is a genius. He has made our favorite PSP titles that were before only available for network play in AdHoc now Infrastructure titles. You can play games that were previously ADHOC ONLY online against people ALL OVER THE WORLD. AWESOME. To do this, you need a few things. First, grab the PRO CFW Nightly Build that corresponds to your firmware by clicking the link below:

Once installed you then need the PRO Online Client BETA v.05 files. To download them, click the link below that corresponds to your firmware:

So why doesnt it work on a 1000?

This uses something called SCEAdHocMatching and a bunch of functions and calls related to it. The 01g kernel does not contain the necessary files, and there is no way to add them. Coldbird has told me that maybe, one day, it might work on a 1000, but it is somewhat unlikely. Go look on Ebay, the price of 2000 and 3000 PSPs has DROPPED off considerably since the Vita came out.

yeah the PRO Online plugin uses a function that breaks the home screen when you press the home button...this means that you cant get any of the cheat devices out of standby mode which renders them useless...also, this plugin is not compatible with other prx's, like bakonice that has a button combo to activate, or others like it...so there you have it, back to the basics and legitness of psp all over again, as if it was just released last week!!!

Socom ft2 isnt working for me. i downloaded it off the sneaky media site. I go to ad-hoc and then it just stops and i have to restart. I have a PSP 2000 and i was wondering if anyone else is experiencing the problem. thx

bro its just like any other PRO update...make sure you uninstall PRO and then replace the update files with the NIGHTLY update files...open and run them exactly the same way you did with PRO B5 or whatever you have...he covers every detail you need to know in the video, so i cant really tell you anything that he hasnt already said...need to skype on it bro?
