It looks like more bad news for Adobe. As they pulled out of the mobile market, Sony follows the steps of Microsoft with their announcement of flash support for the Playstation Vita. (Or lack thereof) This means that the Vita will not be able to play flash based games from within its internet browser thus cutting down the browser's support to only cookies, javascript and part of the HTML5 standard.

Speaking of HTML5, it seems as if this is becoming the alternative for Flash. Many websites such as Youtube are either phasing out Adobe Flash in favor of HTML5 or offering support for both. Being that the Vita supports part of the HTML5 standard, there is the possibility that Sony may fully go through with the adaption to the new format and be able to make up for dropping Flash. However, only time will be able to tell this one.
