Best CFW for a psp 1000?

I don't think what cfw you have really matters, but people seem to like 5.00 m33.

no...m33 is very outdated now...6.60 ME is the best out there for 1000's and fully hackable 2000's...check this link out, download the file in the description, and watch the video....its that easy bro.

a drawback to m33 cfw is that you cant get on the psn with it anymore, and most new plugins arent being made compatible with it...6.60 ME blows m33 out of the water anyways, even if m33 could still get on the psn....trust me, if i could put this cfw on everyone of my psp's, i would.

the links i posted up are video tutorials on how to upgrade to 6.60....yes, it is possible to update from 5.00 m33, i did it on my 2000 just last week....and some more good news is that you HAVE to be in CFW to run the upgrade...so all you guys would have to do is DL the update from the description in the videos, stick the update folder in your GAME section, and run the update from your psp...the first video explains everything step by step.

6.60 ME is BASED off of m33. nuer0n basically took the m33 source files, ported them to work on 6.60, and added BOATLOADS of updated features, and functions. To say that m33 is better than a newer, updated, feature loaded version OF ITSELF, is a moron's statement. Update to 6.60 ME v1.3, test it out, BUY SOMETHING OFF THE PSN (lmao) and then come back here and HONESTLY SAY that 5.00 is better. To say that makes ABSOLUTELY no sense.

TO CLEAR IT: M33=BEST CFW FOR SOCOM cuz most code are m33 hook.....

Jesus christ dude... to make a code GEN compatible (i.e. ME or PRO compatible) change the hooks dude! Its not that fuckin difficult bro. Change 0x00000004 0x0000004c 0x00000024 0x00000010 to 0x00000098 0x000000CC or 0x00000118 and you are done. I wouldnt continue to use an outdated, featureless firmware, just out of pure laziness...
