| He just linked to a site. I will edit the post to avoid a problem, but there is nothing illegal about posting a link. Posting music + movies + isos + and some images = illegal. Posting a link = not.

Posting a link to http://www.psp-iso.com is not illegal, because the site psp-iso.com is not illegal. It is hosted in an area where copyright laws, and digital copyright laws especially, dont exist, or are not enforced. There is nothing ILLEGAL, about linking to a perfectly (in their own right) LEGAL website. Posting a link to an ISO, that is copyrighted, on an American server, is totally illegal, but posting a link to an off-shore website, nothing illegal about that. All that shit is tricky, its alot of wording and bullshit. I dont want to start a section called "Post links to sharing sites" but an occasional link, not really that big of a deal. |

| no it is still illegal to download copyrighted material, in the US, regardless of where it is that you download it from, all that matters is where YOU are at the time of download. If you are in the US, and you download a song that is copyrighted, you can get in trouble for it, period. |
