OK, so those pesky abuses keep coming in huh? Thats a pain in the nuts isnt it? Want to remove the link, so you never have to deal with that shit again?

Here is how you do it:

Go to your Administration Panel. Click on the "Display" Tab.

You will see a list of links under the heading "Templates" on the left hand side of the page.
Click on "General" in the "Templates" Section.
A new page will pop up with a bunch of Template sheets on the right hand side. Find the one titled "overall_footer". In the table that contains the "overall_footer" there is a picture of a Gear on the right hand side, CLICK THAT to edit the overall_footer template.

When the next page loads, you will see a text box with a bunch of HTML in it. We only need to remove one quick little section of it to get rid of that stupid link. Scroll down through the HTML until you see the following:

{U_ABUSE}

All you have to do is delete the "{U_ABUSE}" and the link will dissapear on all pages.
Once you remove the {U_ABUSE} click the Save button. It will save the template and will reload the page that had the "overall_footer" on it.
Next to overall_footer, you will see THREE icons now. One will say "Waiting " and have a little picture next to it, on is a "+" plus sign, and one is a red "X". Click on the green PLUS SIGN to publish the footer.

Congratulations, No more reports.

Nice trick Sworn. The funny thing is, when people report your site, it goes straight to the admin panel and you can just delete them. People who report you think it goes to forumotion and you could get shut down.

yea i know, but even going into the admin panel and seeing reports irritates me, so that just cuts out the middle man

I had to do this for about 3-4 sites. changing the html at the bottom. nice sig. just seen it was directed towards me. ^_^ i havent even been into gaming since going into college for web design. reason why my site kinda just died because i had more important things to do then psp. im slowly coming back. my vip database kinda got lost on in activity on fileshare -.- dumb site doesnt forever save links </3

Forumotion can hold just about as much as any other forum. File storage is the only thing really needed. Other than that you have just about full control of your site if you use phpbb2. If you know what your selectors are and were to locate different classes, you can completely customize it.
