The PlayStation Vita is Sony’s new up and coming handheld gaming console, and it is becoming somewhat of their pride and joy, yet they don’t appear entirely confident. To encourage sales of the device when it is released, Sony Europe has announced that they will be including extra ‘goodies’ for those keen fans that pre-order the new handheld.

If you wish to participate in gaining these extras after you have pre-ordered your Vita, you’ll need to go through a redemption process in order to get your hands on them. The offers available to you depend on your location; however the process you go through is unclear at the moment but it will involve getting a redeem code.

There are several items you can receive along with your pre-ordered console; these include the special PS Vita earphones in vibrant blue, a €5.00 discount from a small selection of games, exclusive items for PlayStation Home and an exclusive avatar.
