| Welcome to the site bro and hope you enjoy! Best versions I prefer is 6.20 or 6.35 but hey... they already make CFW(Custom FirmWare) for 6.39(PRO B6), so you can upgrade or downgrade your psp. It's your choice my new friend or member. Also if you think 6.39 is a piece of crap, well try 6.20 or 6.35
Latest updates: 6.20 TN-E/PRO-B6 6.35 PRO-B6 6.39 ME-2 6.39 PRO-B6(Recommended) |

| Honestly, i would downgrade to 6.20 PRO B6. It has the ability to be permanent, but you need to make sure you have an 03g or 04g PSP before you attempt. If you need help, just ask |

| Well, just be sure that your PSP is an 03g or 04g 3000, the easiest way to tell is by the firmware it had on it when you got it. If it was lower than 6.20 then you are good to go, if it was above 6.20 you should be careful |

| Ok Thanks for that. Its for sure is a 6.31
I have downloaded the psp module checker. Do i copy the file " EBOOT.PBP to the root of my psp? Or is there something else I should be doing first?

| Module checker will only work on HEN. You need to put EBOOT.pbp inside a folder called Checker inside of PSP/GAME, but you have to run HEN first, for 6.31. I have a tutorial in the tutorials section for 6.31 PRO HEN |
