| Unbricking A Semi-Brick Without A Pandora:
1. Enter Recovery Menu, Turn On PSP While Holding Right Trigger 2. Toggle USB In The Recovery Menu 3. Download " [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]" 4. Put The 'RECOVERY' Folder Into PSP -> Game 5. Whatever CFW You Want To Have, you must have the OFW of that CFW OFW Download Links (I Removed Link Due To The Fact It Links To Another Site I'm Part Of And I Think It Would Be Advertising, You Would Have To Find The OFW Yourself. Sorry For Any Inconvenience Caused)6. Put The OFW Into PSP Memory Stick Root (Where seplugins, psp, etc folders are) 7. Disconnect Your PSP From Your USB 8. On The PSP Recovery Menu Go To 'Run program at /PSP/GAME/RECOVERY/EBOOT.PBP' 9. Select The CFW You Wanted To Be Flashed, Press X To Look Through CFW List, (Your CFW MUST Match Your OFW You Put In PSP Memory Stick Root) 10. Select Install CFW 11. An Option Will Be Given To Format Your Memory, Select Yes 12. Your PSP Is Now Being Flashed To Your Desired Firmware 13. When It Is Finished Your PSP Will Reboot And Your Semi-Brick Is Gone Rep+ If This Is Useful |

| Nice tutorial, one thing i would mention, the official firmware EBOOT.pbp must be renamed to contain the version number. Like the EBOOT for 5.00 has to be called 500.pbp for 4.71 it must be 471.pbp, and so on.
Otherwise, very clear, to the letter tutorial. |

| semi-brick=you can access some stuff on your psp, but not all, sometimes screen stays blank but you can access recovery menu
fully-bricked=you can access anything, your screen stays blank
and sworn i forgot to add you have to change the eboot, because the list of official firmwares i have were already changed |

| This is for a semibrick. A semibrick can't access the XMB, that makes it impossible to use a HEN |

| Personally I use UPT ( universal Pandora Tool ) I think the version is 4.2 if I'm correct though it says Pandora Tool it's not exactly that but I didn't name it. The tool it's self allows you to rebuild the flash without losing the data listed as corrupted, you might wanna do some home work before actually using this one but if your more of an advanced user and understand alittle bit more about the flash then this is the ticket because of the options.
If your not so good with Options that don't have a ton of information then stick with Hellcats version, He's really good at what he knows and is aware of the differences between system versions and adjusts his proggies to to work for most versions and if it's a system that doesn't he lists it in the version to let you know. Very well balanced in realizing not everyone knows everything and tries to make a point of keeping it simple.
Good choice over all. |

| One thing that HellCat does with each new release of his Recovery Flasher, he tweaks and arms it to recognize all of the new HEN and CFW choices that are out there, and their various capabilities. He also has all of his newer versions check first the module, and then the motherboard, and automatically disables all of the Flash writing options if a PSP 3000 or 088v3+ 2000 is detected. All in all, he makes his programs almost completely idiot proof... almost |

| I can agree with that, I did a lot of work before he was getting into it at that level so I was use to different programs but I guess it helped me in a way because I had to study the boring stuff too in order to understand what I was working with, I'm into learning the extras but there's nothing bad with getting it done with good work. |
